Area Show Jumping Practices
I have organised 2 Area Show Jumping practice nights at Smallwood Equestrian Centre which is where the Area Show Jumping will be held this year, a great opportunity to practise jumping on grass.
Members wishing to be on a team should try and attend at least one of the following dates:

Chloe Vell
We are very pleased to be able to report that one of our recent members, Chloe Vell, has been selected to represent Great Britain on the team to compete at the Junior and Young Rider European Championships Compiegne, France on 10 – 14 July 2013.
We have passed on the congratulations and best wishes of the whole branch to Chloe and her family. Her success will, we are sure, inspire many of our current members to strive to fulfill their own ambitions within the equestrian world. It is worth also saying that Chloe is only 15 with a 9 year old horse!

Cheshire Show - Tuesday 18 June
We have been invited to enter a team for the Pony Club Show Jumping Relay at The Cheshire Show . The competition takes place in the main arena on the Tuesday afternoon - you will need to be available from 1pm onwards. There is a tack and turnout competition so a high standard of turnout is essential.
You should be confidently jumping 2'9" (water trays, stiles etc) and be able to tackle bending poles and handing over a baton to the next rider.
If you are interested in being considered for the team you should come to the trials at Alsager Equestrian centre on the following dates:
Monday 20th May 6pm -7pm (Trial)
Monday 27th May 4pm -5pm (Trial) NOTE CHANGE OF TIME
Thursday 6th June 6pm - 7pm (Team selection)
Monday 10th June 7.30 - 8.30pm (Team Practice)
Cap £6 - payable on the night

East Cheshire win The Rose Bowl!
Congratulations to East Cheshire members Zoe McLellan, Emily Barnes, Ciara McLellan and Alex Cornwell who won the Rose Bowl class at the Cheshire Hunt South One Day Event at Kelsall Hill.

For under 10s and genuine novices. You don't have to be on a games team - this is a fun session aimed at our younger members. All welcome!
