Can I do it?

Everyone can do Show Jumping!

How Do I Start?

Most Pony Club rallies usually include jumping, so this is a good place to see if you like it.

Your Branch will hold a variety of competitions throughout the year which will include Show Jumping.

When you feel confident enough, you can try your first Show Jumping Competition.

Can I Do More?

The Pony Club holds two National Show Jumping Competitions. These are:

  1. The Pony Club Dengie Winter League Show Jumping
  2. The Pony Club Strongid-P Championships

And for the less experienced Pony Club members there is:
NFU Novice Show Jumping Championships.

The Pony Club Dengie Winter League Show Jumping Competition

This is a series of national competitions which takes place indoors throughout the winter.

There are three parts to the series.

  1. The Preliminary Rounds. The first four placed Pony Club members will go forward to one of the Dengie Winter League Area Competitions.

  2. Area Competitions. Those members that qualify at the area competitions will qualify for the Dengie Winter League Final.

  3. The Final. This is held at Warwickshire College.

The Pony Club Strongid-P Show Jumping Championships

This is a competiton for Senior Pony Club Members. This is where riders compete on behalf of their Branch.

Each area holds its own qualifying competition where all Branches are invited to compete.

Those teams and individuals that come first and second go on to the The Pony Club Strongid-P Championships.

The Pony Club Novice NFU Show Jumping Championships

This competition is for the Junior Members of The Pony Club.

It is similar to The Pony Club Strongid-P Championships but it is for less experienced riders so the fences are smaller.
