The Young Instructors Advanced Course, often abbreviated to YIAC, is a scholarship course that has been run in past years with the generous support of Horse and Hound and the Worshipful Company of Loriners. The aim of the course was to produce Instructors to teach at B+ and A Test Standards. The course has now been superseded by the S.N.A.F.L course but YIAC reunions can be held.
Previously, A Test Passes have been invited to attend this 5 day Course.
The Training Committee recognize that there are many other excellent Instructors who give so much of their time, energy and enthusiasm to The Pony Club who would benefit from attending this Course and who are simply unable to attend for five days. To this end, the Training Committee widened the net for applications, and altered the format for the year 2000 Course.
The new formula proved very successful and will be repeated.

The Fourth Young Instructor Advanced Course Reunion was held on the 15th and 16th December 2004 at Hartpury College, Gloucester. The YIAC Reunion 2004 was a tribute to Lucinda Darling who sadly passed away earlier in the year.
Guest speakers at the Reunion were Captain Mark Philips CVO and Herr Arthur Kottas. We were delighted that both these speakers were able to take part in the Reunion.
