Ponies (UK) Mini Burghley Event Pony

This class is open to invited representatives from Pony Club Branches.  There are two phases to the Mini Burghley Event Pony Competition:

Phase I.  The Dressage Test (the dressage test to be performed before the jumping phase). A total of 70 marks will be awarded for Phase I.

Phase II.  Jumping Phase.  Marks out of 10 will be awarded for each jumping effort at the Judges discretion

The horses/ponies will come into the ring individually and complete phase I, the dressage test, then proceed immediately into phase II, the jumping phase.

There are no set penalities for a pole down or a run out but three refusals will result in elimiation.  The jumping course will be a mixture of coloured and rustic obstacles and is designed to produce ten jumping efforts.

Contact your District Commissioner straight away in order that you are eligible to compete.  Places are limited to 20 Branches.
