Members & Parents - please Note

ELIGIBILITY FOR AREA COMPETITIONS 2008

To be eligible to compete at Area level in 2008, members and ponies must have attended three rallies from 1^st July 2007 including at least one in 2008. (Camp counts as one rally as does the two day rally).

The Area competitions begin with Mounted Games in May so please bear this in mind.

Anyone wanting to go to camp in summer 2008 must have attended at least two rallies so that their ability may be assessed.

Also please make sure that you enter rallies at least two weeks before to help us with booking instructors.

Members are reminded, to be eligible they must rejoin by 31 January 2008

GALLOP

We are planning to organise a rally at a racehorse gallop if there is enough interest, this will be held in October or November.

We ask that members are competent in canter to take part in this exercise.

There will be a small amount of instruction on how to ride with short stirrups and how to ‘bridge’ the reins, then you will be allowed to have a go on the gallops.
