Wheatland Hunt Homepage

The Wheatland Hunt Branch of the Pony Club was founded in 1946 and is one of the 17 clubs that make up Area 7.

We hold rallies throughout the year, giving instruction in the basic skills of flat work, show jumping and cross country.  Not forgetting stable management.

There are plenty of opportunities for members to take the Pony Club Tests, as well as Riding and Road Safety.

Also for the competitive members, we aim to produce teams for competitions in our area, including Mounted Games.

We are fortunate to have many excellent equestrian facilities within easy reach, where we hold most of our rallies, as well as local farms.

Our Annual Camp is at Bow House, Bishop Castle, where we are able to stable over 35 horses and the members sleep in tents (but not the D.C.!!).

We consider ourselves to be a very friendly club and warmly welcome new members of any age.
