Mini Camp

2 - 4 August

Those Ponies think they are rock stars.

They are taking so long to do their hair and make-up that we will have to start without them!

See - we don't need any Ponies

We can do Gymkhana and Show Jumping on our own!

Well, ok, maybe we'll give them just one last chance

Now, we had better get ready ourselves

and show those Seniors and Juniors that we can do anything they can do and

in Pink!!!

Phew! After all that hard work, it's time for some well-deserved rosettes

Senior and Junior Camp

23 - 28 July

Evening Activity from Day 1

Unmounted Gymkhana

First we have the Showjumping

followed by the Skill and Precision needed for Dressage

and last of all the Cross Country Relay

And on to Monday

So far, everyone is still alive in spite of the heat

Much water and ice has been needed all round

Deana's Boys are standing up well to the pressure

And who says Accommodation Judges can't be bribed!

(Actually large cheques might have more effect)

Now it's Tuesday

Everyone is well and truly settled in

There are visible improvements in everyone's riding

Both horses and riders are managing to beat the heat by seeking out any available shade and taking on plenty of water

Our Junior Camp Members are being put through their paces

Quick - just one more mouthful - I need energy to show them what a star I am!

Now just what was it they said in Stable Management yesterday?

Look - I've found Lucy's car key. Perhaps I can negotiate some reward?

Wednesday

Still very hot - and as you will see -

water was in great demand

Now let's just fill these buckets up.

Of course, it's for my horse - he hasn't had any for at least . . . err . . . 2 minutes

Very nice ladies.

It will definitely be the look for Ascot next year

Here we have Mary, Lisa and Vicky enjoying a well deserved quiet moment . . . . until. . .

That's done it now!

We'll be sent home

Just as well they left some for us

(or we would have bitten their backsides)

And then it was Thursday

We had some very important visitors during the day and a Team Quiz in the Evening to see who has been paying the most attention this week!

Is nobody going to take us out?

We've been ready for ages

It's been a long hot week

And now it's back to work

I feel another inspection coming on
