WHPC OPEN DERBY SHOW

Western Hunt Branch of the Pony Club held a Derby Show at Truthwall on August 20^th. We were lucky with the weather and the ground vastly improved after the rain during the week. The classes which included jumping a Derby style Bank and a Devils Dyke were very popular and provided a change to the usual run of coloured pole jumps. The Course was built by Mr Malcolm Daniels with great ingenuity and there was plenty of help from the Pony Club parents. There was also a second ring wit the entertaining pony & pootch classes and handy pony.
