The Very Mini One Day Event 2008
Due to a clash of dates The Very Mini One Day Event will now take place later in August; possibly Wednesday 27th August, or an earlier date.
Please give your name to Mrs Ormond, 01793 740265, if you are interested in entering, even if that date does not suit you as we may be able to make other arrangements.
Please look at the Notice Board at Junior and Mini Camp. Any further information and the Schedule will be put on our Website in due course.
Results from Area 9 Show Jumping The going was perfect, even after all that rain, many congratulations to the Berkley Hunt Pony Club. That gateway was another matter!! How many of us do not learn, wellies are necessary even in the middle of summer! There was great excitement at the end of the day with a jump-off for first place in the Novice Challenge. We were just beaten by 1 second by the Wyre Forest, but still qualified for the Novice Challenge Champs, with dear one-eyed, 23 year old Rupert jumping three clear rounds. Open: 3rd Team: Serena Norton, Katy Vincent, Harriet Quint and Danielle Dunn, who was 6th Individual as well. Intermediate: 2nd Team: Kimberley Mallett, Alice Buck, Alice Edgedale and George Dibble. Novice Challenge: 2nd Team and Novice Challenge Championship Qualifier: Betsy Irwin, Maddie Harris, Astrid Elsen and Kitty Graham. 80cms: 3rd Team: Lucy Kernon, Gracy Bibby, Ottalie Uden and Toby Dibble. All four team members jumped double clears.

The International Trip to USA and Canada took place in late July and August, with David Atkinson of our VWH branch, in the Pony Club UK Tetrathlon boys Team.
This is a brief report of his exciting trip together with some photos.
