April 2008
Tuesday 1st  All seniors, including C+ and B group  Lungeing instruction 11am. at Mount View, Pennerley. Cost £5.
Thursday 3rd  Working Rally, all abilities, Bow House, 2-4pm Beware dressage talent spotters! Cost £7.50p.
Friday 4th  Endurance Rally starting from the car park at Bog Mine. First ride 11am. All parents will have to steward, mounted escorts are needed. Members will be sent in pairs,
Under 12`s must be escorted. You will need a map carrying case and will be expected to practice your map reading skills. Entries to be made in advance and the map will be posted to you. Cost £5. Start times will be given to you at the rally on Thursday.There will be a vet check, and tack will be inspected for safety and suitability.
Sunday 6th Mounted games practice 4pm. Bow House unless informed otherwise. Cost£3.
Monday 7th Novice hack on the Longmynd starting from Woodnall, All Stretton 10.30am. Cost £2.50p.
Wednesday 9th  Practical Stable Management for ALL Pony Club members including C+ and B group. 6.30-8.00pm.[ Please be prompt] At Bow House, Cost £5.
Sunday 13th  Show Jumping, Highgrove.
Sunday 13th  Mounted games at Bow House provisionally. 4pm. Cost£3
Wednesday 16th  Mounted Evening Rally, Bow House 6 for 6.30pm-8p.m.   Wednesday rallies for all abilities, will continue through the summer term, XC will be included when ground conditions allow. Advance booking is essential. Use the booking form and send the correct money. Cost£7.50p. To avoid congestion, lorries to park in top car park, trailers in bottam car park. Park alternatively, one in front row, next in back row, next in front row etc.
Saturday 19th  Cross country rally at Larden Grange [off theB4378 road to Much Wenlock] Senior [especially C+ and B group] and Junior groups, ideal practice for Horse Trials. Cost £15.
Sunday 20th  Mini Show Jumping, Highgrove.
Sunday 20th  Novice rally at Woodnall, All Stretton. 10.30pm. Cost £2.50p
Sunday 20th  Mounted games at Bow House provisionally. 4pm. Cost £3.
Wednesday 23rd  Evening rally at Bow House, 6 for 6.30pm – 8pm. Cost£7.50p.
Please bring homemade cakes to this rally for cake stall on Saturday or bring on the day.
Saturday 26th  United Pack Point to Point at Brampton Bryan. Cake stall in aid of the branch. 
Saturday26th  Berwyn and Dee mounted games friendly at Oswestry
Sunday 27th  Show Jumping, Highgrove.
Sunday 27th  Sir W.W.Wynn`s mounted games friendly at Oswestry!

Wednesday 14th Evening rally at Bow House 6 for 6.30p - 8.00pm.  Dressage training (Seniors extra R&RS, if needed) 7.50
Saturday 17th "Dancing Horses" an evening with Ricky Balshaw, Para Olympic Dressage rider, 7pm for 7.30pm at Winstanstow Village Hall.  This is a Pony Club fund raiser and will include talk, video and supper; a bar has been applied for.  Tickets from supporters club. 6.00 & 3.00
Sunday 18th Ludlow mini / novice ODE at Kyre.  Suitable for our members.
Sunday 18th Long Mynd Bridleway Association hack for a snack to Habberley
Sunday 18th Isle of Bicton fun ride
Wednesday 21st Evening Rally at Bow House 6 for 6.30pm, to include Dressage competition and TREC training for everyone. 7.50

Wednesday 28th TREC first timers competition, suitable for all Pony Club members and parents.  Will include an orienteering phase, a control of gaits, and an obstacle course.  Briefing at 10.30am in the RDA room at Berriewood.  Further details and entry forms will be available soon. 15.00
Friday 30th Show jumping training at Bow House with Caroline and JP.  Four ability groups, any age.  2- 4pm.  Tel DC for times on Thursday 7.30pm. 10.00
