Efficiency Tests 2007

Anyone interested in taking their D, D+, C, C+ or Riding and Road Safety tests, must return a completed slip attached, so that instructors, examiners and venues can be organized in advance. The B, A and Lunging test training is arranged by Tracey Rivett, however anyone wishing to carry out the tests please complete the form and return it in the same way.

D tests

This test will be arranged at convenient dates throughout the year as and when children are either old enough or for new members wishing to take their efficiency test. This may-be at an all day rally or at camp.

D+ tests

This test will need some training which will consist of I ridden and 3 theory/practical rallies. We hope to commence some training at the beginning of March 2007.

Riding and Road Safety

Riding and Road Safety will be held annually, however this depends on numbers interested, as a minimum of eight candidates are needed to commence. This course consists of a minimum of 70 hours to be completed, bath ridden and theory sessions, before the actual BHS Riding and Road Safety test can be taken. Riding and Road Safety now has to be passed before being able to receive the C test certificate. A!1 monies for both training and test have to be paid in advance, although test fees are reimbursed.

C Test

The C test will be organized far later in the year with approximately 8 practical/ theory rallies and 7 ridden session.

C + Test

C+ test will be arranged hopefully to start in March 2007, with 7 theory/practical rallies and 2 ridden sessions (approx.)

To allow tests to run smoothly, slips must be returned as soon as possible, members will not be contacted individually unless completed farms have been received. The cost of training rallies depends on numbers and whether or not a venue has to be paid far. Test fees are paid for by pony club.

If you are unsure whether your son/daughter is ready for their test please ask our chief instructor for her advice.

Pony Club efficiency test sheets can be obtained via the pony club website or from Helen Barth.
