Hat Tagging, rules, regs & Medical Armbands

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

From next year 2008 the use of a 'jockeys skull cap' with a removable cover will
become compulsory for all cross country riding at Eventing Level 3 (.80m) and
above, and recommended for all cross country.  It might be helpful to point
this out to parents contemplating purchasing a new hat this summer 08

---------------------------------

Pony Club this year 2006 have brought in hat tagging the same as the British eventing did a couple of years ago. We have made arrangements to tag hats on the day of the events but as this is new to us it will take time to check all hats and tag them if they meet the required standard, so if you are entering one of our events and your hat is not tagged before the event,  please allow plenty of time to get it checked and tagged.

MEDICAL ARMBANDS COMPULSARY

Also you are now required to wear a medical armband for all cross country events, this arm band should hold all your medical history, this information is helpful for the paramedics in case of an accident.
