Mini Camp 2007

Junior Camp 2007

Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th August.

This year the mini camp moved to new premises, the very smart set up of the Render family, Stone Lodge  nr Thorne. Thank you so much for letting our members invade  on your premises, the ponies and riders were spoilt for the two days, ponies had stables to die for, very large airy rubber matted stables, with everything near to hand, some of the juniors slept in tents but because the weather was not good, many decided sleep indoors rather than in their tents. This is the first time that the juniors have had a sleepover, and it was enjoyed by them all.

The 2 days Monday and Tuesday, again were action packed, with tution from  Tracy Rivett the Cheif instructor of the pony club, and a competition, show jumping, dressage and cross country. Tanya Martyn, Helen Barth, and Amanda Rayner made sure the riders had fun they planned lots of things to keep them busy all day and night.

The Area 6 rep also paid a visit on the Monday and was very impressed with every thing and said how lucky they were to have such facilities on the doorstep.

Hopefully the junior camp will be held at the Stane Lodge again next year.
