The Event will be run under The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2008. Ages of competitors as on 1st January 2008. Hats MUST be tagged with the official Pony Club tag. Hats must be worn with a chin strap and fastened at all times when mounted. An effective body protector and medical armband MUST BE WORN for the cross country phase. Horses / ponies must be at least 5 years old and may not compete more than once. Objections in writing with 10.00 deposit will be accepted according to Pony Club Eventing Rules 2008. Novice Restrictions: combination of horse or pony and rider not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd individually in Hunter Trials or One Day Event or 1st in any Show Juming competition at a height of 26/75cm or above up to close of entries. No one other than the competitor may ride the horse/pony at the event, (see Pony Club Eventing Rules 2008). Only tack permitted under The Pony Club Eventing rules (see Pony Club Eventing Rules 2008). No outside assistance permitted in classes 1 4 unless stated. Eliminated competitors may continue on the Cross Country Course, but must give way immediately to other riders. Competitors in Class 5 may not compete in Class 4. Competitors in Class 3 or 4 may not compete in Class 2 The organisers reserve the right to split or amalgamate classes according to entries received.
