Please find via the link below a full list of PWPC Programme of Events for 2008 and 2009!
Programme of Events 2007/2008/2009Held at Chesfield using the mini cross country course in Bent Meadow, all phases are aimed at encouraging novice/younger/inexperienced riders and ponies/horses and offer an ideal opportunity to put three phases together in one day and practise all that you have learnt at rallies and schooling evenings. The Mini One Day Event is open to other pony club members and also non pony club members, so in order to avoid disappointment as numbers per class will be limited, please send your entries in as soon as possible.
Times are available via the following link - fingers crossed for nice weather on Sunday.
Novice ODE TimesAnnie Larner and Suzanne Adamthwaite has kindly offered for us to use the lovely facilities at Letchmore Farm, on the Hitchin to Codicote road (very close to Langley), which offers an indoor and full sized outdoor school, flat level paddocks for practising dressage on grass which is important as most pony club area competitions take place on grass arenas.
Two enjoyable and interesting days have been spent (see latest news for full details) more are planned so please call or email Suzanne on ladysamsuze@yahoo.co.uk or 07983977860 to book your place.
The first full day rally of 2008 to be held at Chesfield - please arrive in good time to be mounted and ready for instruction to commence promptly at 10.30am. Stable Management will be included during the day and the rally with finish at approximately 3.30pm. Please bring supplies (food and drink) for both yourself and your mount.
Rally Reply slip available to download via the following link - please forward to Marianne ASAP (so she knows how many instructors to book), together with payment of £10 per rider (cheques payable to PWPC).
May 2008 Rally Reply SlipThe PWPC's annual Tri/Tetrathlon will take place on Saturday 31st May 2008. This is a lovely day out for everyone and with classes from the youngest member of the family to older members planning on competing at Area level. The first few classes are without shooting which is replaced with Ball in the Bucket, they also have more of an obstacle type run and the swim is shorter and armbands/floats are allowed. The riding phase is also optional.
Entries are still being accepted and are open to all other Pony Club branches. Please support the Pony Club at this good fun day.
Tetrathlon Schedule 2008A fabulous opportunity to enjoy and benefit from expert instruction from two of the areas leading trainers (and all on one evening) - Martin Greet on the flat and John Adams over fences. Ground conditions permitting instruction will take place on grass which offers members and their horses/ponies a fantastic opportunity to practise riding on the surface they will be competing on during the summer.
To book your place please call Sue Underhill on 07977431785 or email her at chris.underhill@btconnect.com, highlighting the earliest time you could be mounted ready for instruction.
