Tiverton Tetrathlon (26th / 27th April, 2008).

25 of our members attended the Tiverton Pony Club tetrathlon recently, which attracted a large field of around 250 competitors for the Triathlon on Saturday, and provided good competition in all classes.  This was another impressive turnout and NC Pony Club were once again the largest contingent.

Results of note were as follows ;

North Cornwall Setters comprising Alice Stephens, Di Milton Ayres and Eva Walton were placed 2nd in the Mini Girls tetrathlon teams competion.

Luke Spry won the Mini Boys tetrathlon individual competition.

The North Cornwall Labradors team which was made up from Nina Ball, Emma Howard and Issy Kennen won the Junior Girls team competition, with Nina being placed 1st individually and Emma Howard 6th.

North Cornwall Setters (Katie Howard, Abbie Glencross and Annie Warren) won both the Intermediate Girls team triathlon and tetrathlon.  Abbie was placed 3rd Individually.

The North Cornwall Senior Girls team of Emma Harris, Lowenna Stephens, Sophie Gaskell and Primrose Miller were placed 1st in the triathlon and second in the tetrathlon.

Another good day for the North Cornwall tetrathletes.  Well done to all of our competitors, who were the only ones to turn up in numbers for the triathlon prizegiving on Saturday.
