HIGH PEAK SUCCESS FOR CHARLOTTE.

Charlotte Swindells had a great day at the High Peak Branch of the Pony Club at Chatsworth. She took two ponies.
In the first section she won the Best Ridden Pony on her 4 yr old welsh section B Brookwater Lapdancer (Keeley), and went on to win the Mountain and Moorland Small breeds on her 11.3 welsh A Swinpark Mary Poppins (Poppy). This put both ponies into the Ridden Championship which Charlotte went on to win on Keeley.

Later in the day she took Keeley in her first working Hunter Nursery stakes and won the class , she then went in the Novice class on Poppy and achieved 2nd Place. Charlotte was extremely pleased with both of her ponies, especially as they both performed well even though it was raining all morning.

A lovely picture below of Charlotte and Keeley.

GREAT FUN HAD BY BARLOW MEMBERS AT THE BLANKNEY JUNIOR ONE DAY EVENT.

Several Barlow members went to the Blankney PC Junior ODE on 19th April and had a great day. Bert Bolton, Katie Patrick, Polly Chiverton and Conor Dubik all rode well but finished just out of the rosettes. Georgie Bolton on her new pony in their first ever ODE were fantastic and came 7th in their section, just missing a rosette. Tom Patrick did a good dressage and double clear to come 4th in a hotly contested 10 and under class. Thanks to the Blankney for a lovely well run event on a very cold day!
