DRESS & RULES FOR RALLIES

NEW HAT RULE FOR 2008

For cross country riding over fences 0.80m and above, a jockey skull cap must be worn. In the programme it says 90cm but HQ have amended the rule to be 80cm.

Show Jumping Rallies

These are rallies held throughout the year in hourly sessions on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Suitable for all members who are confident in jumping a 2 foot fence.

Dressage Rallies

Dressage rallies are held every month throughout the year, usually on the first Saturday of each month. They are flatwork rallies held in hourly sessions and are suitable for all members, whatever their level of ability.

All Day Rallies

All Day rallies are usually held during school holidays and are suitable for members of all abilities. They may be General rallies, or have a specific theme such as Cross Country or Mounted Games.

Cross Country Rallies

Cross country rallies may be incorporated into all dat rallies, or held seperately as timed rallies (usually 1 1/2 hours duration). They are great fun, but you must be competent to ride and jump your pony in open spaces.
