Barlow Hunt Activities
The Barlow branch runs all sorts of working rallies for members during the year. Please click for more information on the different types of rallies.
The Barlow Pony Club takes part in inter-branch dressage competitons and runs training for members who would like to represent the branch.
Barlow had some good results in inter-branch show jumping competitions last year and we will be working hard over the winter to get some good teams together for 2008. Please let Liza or Vicky know if you would like to be involved.
Tetrathlon is an exciting discipline for all members. Triathlon (which takes place through the winter) comprises three phases:- SHOOTING, SWIMMING AND RUNNING.
Tetrathlon comprises 4 phases:- SHOOTING, SWIMMING, RUNNING AND CROSS COUNTRY RIDING.
Training for triathlon and tetrathlon carries on throughout the year and all members who would like to have a go are very welcome to come along.
Barlow would like to field some eventing teams at interbranch competitons and also at Area competitions this year. There is a lot of talent in our Pony Club in this area, so we are looking forward to some great results.
Barlow have a very active mounted games team who train hard all winter and deserve your support! This year we are also hosting the Area Mounted Games competiton which will be held at Bakewell Showground in May. Click through for more details.
