MANY THANKS to Richard and Vicky Fahey for showing us round their Racing Yard on 1st April. PC members, parents and committee members enjoyed this opportunity to look behind the scenes at the work involved in bringing over 120 horses through their training and onto the racecourse. Thanks also to Carole Dennis for organising this.

MOUNTED GAMES The snow did not deter stiff competition at the Friendly at Woolley Edge on Sunday 6 April. Hurworth Senior and Junior Teams showed their technical skills against some of the best national teams, including Atherstone, Cheshire North and Banwen and Dee (all Horse of the Year Show competitiors in recent years).
