Riding and Road Safety
A number of our members have spent many Saturday mornings at Croft Top, training for the British Horse Society Riding and Road Safety exam. David Lafond, Kelly Sagar, Holly Kilburn, Alice Miller and Hannah Miller were joined by a few members from Fylde and District Pony Club for the exam in August. All did exceptionally well and passed the exam, well done! Many thanks to Denise Rushton for training them, and achieving a 100% pass rate.

The exam consists of three parts - theory - simulated road - public highway.
Each part has to be passed before the candidate is allow to continue to the next stage.
This very important exam and a certain life saver.
Pony club members must have trained for and passed their Riding and Road Safety Achievement badge before being awarded the C Test or the British Horse Society Riding and Road Safety exam before being awarded the C+ Test.
