Tetrathlon.   A few members went to Auchlishie for the Scotland and the Borders Tetrathlon competition on Thursday and Friday 28/29 July.  Mike Harley won his section, reversing the placings with Jamie Struthers from interbranch. David Lawrie was beaten into second place again, but enjoys a real needle competition with Jack McRoberts for the Junior Boys Tetrathlon honours in Scotland.
Just a quick note to let everyone know what a brilliant time we had at Tetrathlon.  20 members from Fife travelled up to Aberdeenshire and endure some very unfriendly weather, however a great time was had by all with everyone being successful in at least one discipline.  I would like to thank absolutely everyone who took part and who came to support very much, there was great team spirit between everyone.  Also a special thank you to Sarah Oakden for giving up her time to come up to course walk everyone and also to be on hand to set everyone off on the course.  She also wins the prize for shouting the loudest encouragement at the swimming pool.  Detailed results of the competition will be posted shortly, but our main claims are:-

1st Mini Boys Team
1st Junior Boys Team
1st Junior Girls Team

Well done everyone and thank you for being such great competitors

POSTAL SHOOT

Several of our members took part in the postal shoot over the winter months, and found the practice an ideal way to keep their eye in, although it does seem a struggle to remember to do them each month the practice certainly pays off.  We managed some excellent results.
