The Atherstone Hunt Branch of the Pony Club offers a range of activities and training that is available to members to help them reach their own goals and work towards test standards. Remember that we are here to help you. If you need any advice on which training to attend, then please speak to either the Chief Instructor (Amelia) or Assistant Chief Instructor (Catherine). We will be more than happy to help.

Each year the Branch runs a mini, junior, senior and advanced camp. Camp is an excellent opportunity to have lots of fun and make new friends whilst benefiting from several days of instruction across a range of activities.
This will progressively become the Page where you can see easily all the different activities whish make up DRESSAGE in the Branch, and in the wider Pony Club World. There is a lot on Dressage and some exciting activities outside the Branch if you explore the main PC site.
Showjumping "Teams" for the Branch are the way to get lots of "Match Practice" with your friends, and represent the Branch at the same time.
Does your horse/pony jump into water? Now is a good time to find out! (and do something about it)
A Tetrathlon comprises of 4 disciplines and is usually run over two days, it was originally set up for boys but is now open to all members. The 4 disciplines are Running, Riding, Shooting and Swimming. It is not necessary to be good at all of the disciplines, it is a competition where you can come along and have a go. There is plenty of training and help available if you have not tried this discipline before.
In the 1950s the Pony Club introduced a "New" activity-"Mounted Games" for "ordinary Ponies". Not everyone wants to Showjump, or Event or (even do flatwork) and not every horse or pony is cut out for these disciplines.
Following an introduction of polo at camps a few years ago, interest in polo is growing within the Branch. If you fancy having a go at polo, why not come along to our next training rally?
