These pages are intended as a resource for our Treasurers to assist them in performing their role within their Branches. They include the latest templates for items such as the Branch Annual Accounts and then guidance documents to aid Treasurers in preparing these documents.

Treasurer Training and Branch Annual Accounts Workshops

In order to assist our Branch Treasurers in their roles, we will be holding three more “Treasurer Training and Branch Annual Accounts Workshops” at weekends in the next few months. These are being held at the Pony Club Office in Warwickshire. These dates are mainly aimed at Treasurers but could also be of interest to other Branch officials (such as District Commissioners).

The workshops consist of approximately two to three hours of detailed Treasurer training (around such topics as keeping financial records, preparing Branch Annual Accounts, preparing capitation returns, use of online banking and use of PayPal) and then the opportunity to receive individual help with preparing your own 2016 Branch Annual Accounts, if you require it. There is also time to ask any questions you may have about the role of Treasurer or any other Pony Club finance related queries. 

Lunch will be provided and travel expenses for attendees paid by The Pony Club.

The next upcoming dates will be in December 2017, January 2018 and February 2018 (exact dates to be confirmed nearer the time). If you would like to have any treasurer training before this, please contact Andrew Brown to discuss the possiblity of running a one-off session at The Pony Club office.
