As from 1st January 1998, every Pony Club Instructor is required to attend at least one Instructors Course (CPD) where a mounted demonstration ride is provided, every two years. This may be at Branch, Area, Regional or National Level.
Area Instructors Courses
The Policy of the Pony Club Council is to help provide courses of instruction at all stages for everyone who helps to teach in the Branches and Centres. This policy is implemented through the Training Committee which is responsible for the annual series of courses.
Many courses are organised on an Area basis by Area Representatives and Branches / Centres, but anyone looking for a suitable course should be made welcome in a neighbouring area.
A limited number of Instructors may be allowed to attend the HSBC Area Eventing Training days and shadow the Trainers there. Please contact the Organiser if you would like to attend, as numbers will be strictly limited.
