As a global leader in his field, Tony will include ways to enable our athletes to have the skills in the toolkit to be the best they can when it matters the most.

Tony currently works in professional sport in performance enhancement and leadership development.

Tuesday 27th November saw the first leg of the Pony Club Winter Psychology Tour with Professor (Dr.) Tony Ghaye and Marie Ryan. The evening kicked off with an insight in to why attendees were there, and Tony’s quick moving style kept his wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise evident to the audience.

Marie Ryan, Pony Club Mentor and Coach, supported Tony with reflection on her own experiences from being a child and competing, having owners, dealing with tricky horses and working with the ‘average cob’ to become part of a silver medal winning Pony Team.

The evening leaves you motivated and inspired to tackle awkward conversations, work on the ‘1% improvement challenge’ and not relive incidents on the way home in the lorry. Overall, it makes you believe that you are more prepared for anything life can throw at you!
Tony is well known as the ‘Positivity Psychologist’ and this is certainly how he will leave you feeling after attending his talk.

This event will count as CPD for PC coaches and is open to all.

Tickets are £22. Online bookings can be found at:events.pcuk.org
