Dates for 2018

The Junior Regional Competition will be held at Moreton Morrell College, Warwickshire on 2nd-3rd June. Further details will follow.
The Regional 100 Competition will be held at Aylesford Equestrian Centre, Leicetershire on 28th-29th July. Further details will follow.

The Regional 100 Competition 2017

The Regional 100 Competition, formerly known as the Open/Senior Regional, was held at Southfield House, Nunney, Frome, Somerset, BA11 3JY by the kind permission of Mrs Angela Yeomans and at Monkton Combe School, Bath by the kind permission of Principal Mr C. Wheeler, BA(Dunelm), PGCE, FRSA on the 5th & 6th August.

Southern England Region and Richard Mosley kindly organised a super competition that was well attended and kindly sponsored by Snowflake.

The Junior Regional Competition 2017

Judy Hardcastle & Janet Wakeham kindly organised the competition.
Competitors from eight Regions: Scotland, Northern England, East of England, Central England, Wales & Borders, Southern England, South West England and Republic of Ireland, took part in the Junior Regional Competition that was held at Moreton Morrell College in Warwickshire on the 3rd & 4th June. It proved to be a very tough competition with a tricky cross country course put together by Heather Greenslade, Andy Frame and course builder, Lloyd Hunt. In the end it was Morgan Thompson from Wales & Borders that took first place in the boys individual competition and Central England with Charlie Brown, Joshua Mitchell, Oscar Hamilton-Russell, Tom Connors and Will Connors, who took home the team trophy. In the Girls individual competition it was Poppy Clarke from Central England that took first place and Ireland Silver team of Isobel Radford-Dodd, Heather O’Connor, Rebecca Lowe, Erika Lowe and Sarah Seymour took first place in the team competition. Best shoot for the Boys was won by Alex John from Wales & Borders, who scored the maximum of 1000 points. For the the girls it was a tie between Poppy Clarke (Central England), Annabel James (Wales & Borders) and Ruth Farnsdale (Scotland) who all shot 980 points. The swimming awards were taken by Daragh Fitzgerald and Rebecca Lowe both from the Irish Pony Club. Sam Cobb from South West England and Sarah Coutts from Scotland too the Best Run awards. We would all like to say a massive thank you to all the volunteers who helped run the competition over the weekend, especially Derick Gray, Nick Cripps, Richard Mosley, and Heather Greenslade for organising the phases, Andy Frame who was Chief Steward, and Judy Hardcastle and Janet Wakeham for kindly organising the competition.
