Book your place at the Pony Club Coach of the Year Awards and the 2018 Pony Club Coaching Conference

Make sure you don’t miss two fantastic events this Spring - the Pony Club Coach of the Year Awards on Sunday 11 February and the 2018 Pony Club Coaching Conference on Monday 12 February.

The inaugural Pony Club Coach of the Year Awards will be held on Sunday 11 February 2018, with guest speaker Jonty Evans

Join us in congratulating our Coach of the Year Awards winners over a meal and a drink at Aylesbury Vale Golf Club, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 0UJ, on Sunday 11 February 2018.

Jonty Evans is our after dinner speak, and he will be giving an insight into his recent crowd-funding success which saw him secure his ride on his Rio Olympic horse, Cooley Rorkes Drift.

The cost is £38 per person including a three course meal and welcome drink. Book your place HERE

With a range of world-class speakers and insightful demonstrations, the 2018 Pony Club Coaching Conference is a must-attend event, and if you book your place before 12 January 2018 you will be entered into a prize draw to win a Neue Schule bit

Taking place at Bury Farm Equestrian Centre, Leighton Buzzard, on Monday 12 February 2018, the theme of the conference is ‘small change, big difference,’ and the aim is to show coaches how they can view their own training from a different angle; enabling them to get ahead and discover new ways of assisting others to reach their goals.

The event, which has once again been generously sponsored by The Worshipful Company of Saddlers, will include talks from equine biomechanics expert Russell Guire, performance psychologist Charlie Unwin and international show jumper and trainer Matt Lanni. There will also be demonstrations from Neue Schule and the Society of Master Saddlers.

William Blane, Chairman of Pony Club Training, said: “We’re really excited for the forthcoming conference, and with the impressive line-up of speakers and demonstrations the event promises to be full of information and ideas to help coaches in all aspects of their learning.”

The event is open to all, not just those involved with The Pony Club, and tickets are just £40 available HERE

The event will count as CPD for Pony Club Coaches and BHS Accredited Coaches
