The Pony Club Tetrathlon Committee are pleased to announce that The Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships 2013 will be held at Bishop Burton College, Yorkshire from Friday 9th - Sunday 11th August. We are thrilled to be using Bishop Burton as a new venue for 2013 – it is in a marvellous location, with truly fantastic facilities.
The Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships were held at Hartpury College on August 21st-23rd 2012. The Pony Club would like to thank all the volunteers, competitors and their supporters for a fantastic time this last week. Without the help and support shown by you - The Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships would not be possible.
Mentoring Flyer 2012
Last year we piloted, with great success, a mentoring programme to run alongside the Tetrathlon Championships at Hartpury College. The programme is kindly sponsored by NFU Mutual and Ariat Clothing and uses ex-Olympic and World Class Pentathletes who work as Mentors and Role Models. The Mentors combine their own experience with Mentoring Cards, to support the Tetrathletes competing at the Championships through the emotional aspects of performing when it counts.
Mentor topics for this year will cover
- Winning Habits
- Working with nerves
- Working through setbacks
- Being best prepared
