Polocrosse Championships

NFU Mutual Polocrosse Championship for 2012 will be held on the last two days of The Pony Club Championships at our lovely new venue, Cholmondeley Castle, Malpas, Cheshire on Saturday & Sunday, 18th & 19th August.

Competing teams are to supply the services of one umpire and one horse, trained to stick and ball for the Umpires.  Branches unable to supply an umpire will be allocated one by the umpire co-ordinator, but must still supply suitable horses and pay the expenses of the allocated umpire.  A list of umpires are available through the Chairman or The Pony Club office throughout the year.

Open Sections
Each Open team may include one Associate Member (Associate Membership is available for persons aged over 21 years until the end of The Pony Club year in which they become 25 years old).

Tack & Turnout
This year there will be rosettes to 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed teams in each Class, provided an adequate standard is achieved.  Members are expected to dress for the Parade on Sunday morning as per their tack check on Saturday’s turnout.
