HSBC Eventing Training Days

HSBC Area Eventing Training Days are put on to help those Members aiming to represent their Branch at Area Level.

The HSBC-sponsored tuition is designed to capitalise on the talent and enthusiasm of Pony Club members in a sport that Britain excels at.  Through this sponsorship HSBC hope that riders at the grass roots levels of Eventing can be encouraged and helped to develop their skills, therefore widening and strengthening the base of riders who may well go on through junior and young rider schemes to represent their country at the highest level.

Course walkers with Harry Meade

All lucky attendees of the HSBC Eventing Training days had the opportunity to join Harry Meade on a course walk at Burghley this year courtesy of HSBC. All they had to do was make sure they were wearing the HSBC T-shirt, that they received at their HSBC training day.  Harry met the lucky Members at the HSBC Maltings fence on Thursday and Friday, and led the course walks off from there.
Right: Harris Ritchie, Lauren McWade, Elspeth Jamieson and Eilioh Jack of Eglinton Hunt Pony Club attended an exclusive Course Walk with HSBC Ambassador Harry Meade at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on Friday 2nd September; the fourth round of the HSBC FEI Classics™ Series.

Two Individual section winners at the 2011 Intermediate Eventing Championships attended the Area 6 HSBC Eventing Training day at Aylesford XC!  Congratulations to Katie Hurrell (Cottesmore Hunt) and Harriette Howard (Burton Hunt).
