Eventing Rules
Eventing Rulebook 2012
Addition to Eventing Rules with immediate effect – the use of ‘head cams’ will not be allowed in all discipline competitions. 4.05.12
Unfortunately there is an error in the Eventing, Show Jumping, Tetrathlon and Pony Racing rulebooks. The rule referring to Micklem bridles is incorrect. Please amend as follows:
“The Micklem Multibridle is permitted.” Remove “only with a simple snaffle bit, as per current Dressage rules.”
Hunter Trials
There are no official rules for organising and judging hunter trials, but there are some guidelines for organisers in the Eventing Organisers’ Handbook.
The Pony Club does not approve basing the result of a hunter trial on the fastest speed round and marks for style are not recommended.
Other Discipline Rules
All Rule Books are available for download via our website. It is strongly recommended that you print out or buy a copy of the appropriate discipline Rule Book(s) so that you always have it to hand for your competitions. If you wish to purchase a 'hard-copy' of any Rule Book then you can do so from our online shop at a cost of £3.00
