To be run strictly under current Pony Club Eventing Rules. The following additional rules will also apply:
Eligibility
1. Open to Members and Associate Members aged 15 years or over on the day of the competition.
2. Horses/Ponies must be aged 5, 6 or 7 years on 1st January of the current year.
3. Horses/Ponies must not have run at BE100, Pony Club Level 4 (Intermediate) or above by the day of the competition.
4. Horses/Ponies must not have been placed 1st – 6th individually in any Pony Club Eventing Area (qualifying) Competition or the Championships at Level 3 or above before 1st January of the current year.
5. Horses/Ponies must not have been placed 1st – 6th in a BE90 competition before 1st January of the current year.
Competitions
6. To be run at any Pony Club Level 3 Eventing competition, including Level 3 (Novice) Area Competitions and Championships (riders must ensure that they are eligible for Area Competitions and Championships).
7. Having completed a Level 3 competition, eligible riders must get a Young Event Horse Series Card signed by the Event Organiser / Secretary to verify their results. Cards will be available to download from www.pcuk.org or can be obtained by sending a SAE to The Pony Club Office. A supply will also be sent to each Branch.
8. For every Level 3 competition they complete, riders should forward a completed Young Event Horse Series Card to The Pony Club office. A photocopy of the horse/pony’s passport, clearly displaying the date/year of birth must be sent with the first card that is submitted. Cards should be sent within one month of the competition.
9. Points will be awarded by The Pony Club office to each horse / rider combination according to their results as follows:

10. Riders may ride more than one horse; each horse/rider combination will be awarded points separately. Separate cards must be submitted for each horse.
11. Horse/rider combinations will accumulate points for the duration of the Eventing season or until they move up a level to Pony Club Level 4 (Intermediate), BE100 or above. The combination will no longer be eligible to collect points once they have competed above Level 3. Any points gained prior to moving up a level will stand for the remainder of the season.
12. Combinations competing Hors Concours will not be awarded any points.
Results
13. At the end of the league series, the winner will be the horse/rider combination with the most points.
14. In the event of a tie in points at the end of the league series, the highest placed combination will be the one with the least XC faults (jumping and time) in total across all entered events.
15. Rosettes awarded to the top 10 horse/rider combinations at the end of the season. Further prizes TBC.
16. Branches/Centres which have run a Level 3 Eventing competition in the current year will be eligible for a special prize. Of those Branches/Centres, the one with the highest placed rider in the Young Event Horse Competition will win. In order to be eligible, the Branch competition must be listed on the Eventing Competitions page of The Pony Club website.
