All Branches and Areas Reps of The Pony Club can apply to host and organise a Health & Safety Awareness workshop. In return for organising the course, and paying for the venue, the Branch / Centre / Area will receive a £60 credit from The Pony Club Office. The Pony Club pays the fee and expenses of the Trainer.

The venue must be able to sit 24 people comfortably, and have electricity, and space for a projector, and a screen or blank pale wall that can be projected onto. You should allow two and a half hours for a course. Courses will only run if there are a minimum of 12 attendees. The maximum number of attendees per course is 24.

Please check the website that there is not another course running close by to your proposed course; as we want to distribute them around the Areas as fairly as possible. Every course will be open to all Branches.

The organiser should contact Bill Cook and agree a date and time with him. It is the organiser’s responsibility to agree a date, time, and venue with the trainer, and to book and pay for this venue.

The organiser should then fill in the course booking form, and return this to Stefanie Brazier at The Pony Club Office at least four weeks before the date of the course.

Health & Safety Workshop Booking Form

If the course is approved, an online entry form will be created on The course will also be listed on The Pony Club website, and the details of the course sent to the Area Rep.

The course costs £20 for each person to attend, which is paid securely through PayPal. All bookings are done online - up to twelve people can be entered at one time. Each entry will receive a confirmation email.

A sign in sheet will be sent to the organiser by email a few days before the course. The organiser should print this off, and ask all attendees to sign in. A copy (scan, photo, or original by post) should be sent to The Pony Club Office. Certificates of attendance will then be sent directly to attendees by post.
