Centres at the Championships
In 2012, the Pony Club Championships will be heading to Cholmondeley Castle, Shropshire from 16th to 19th August with the Centre Equitation Competition on Thursday 16th August. Schedules to enter your teams will be available shortly. As in previous years, we will be accepting twenty-four Centre teams. Initially this will be one team per Centre. If we have space closer to the competition date, those that have expressed interest may be invited to bring a second team.

In brief:
- Four Centre Members per team (two 12 years and under, two 13 years and over - age to be taken on 1st Jan 2012)
- Each Centre should bring 2 ponies per team, each pony may only be ridden twice.
- Each competitor will perform a dressage test and a show jumping round.
- The dressage and show jumping phases will be held on grass.

Centre Equitation 2011
We had an amazing turnout of 24 teams for the Centre Equitation this year and for around 40 of the competitors, this was their first visit. Our fab team of volunteers had things under control and we were underway at 9am sharp for the first dressage tests. Yet again, judges for the tack and turnout were extremely impressed with the teams and the Turnout prize was awarded to Low Fold Equestrian Centre.
A busy afternoon of show jumping left Croxteth Park in prime position to take the team award with one of their members, Ashleigh Cole, winning her section.
Talygarn Equestrian Centre won the Team competition with two of their riders also winning their sections.
An immaculate Mill House won the Turnout award.
