Results from the Centre Equitation 2016 at the Pony Club Championships

After 4 days of up and down weather, the sun shone for the final day of the Pony Club Championships for Intermediate Eventing and the Centre Equitation. Seventeen teams from fourteen riding centres took part in the Centre Equitation which includes Tack and Turnout, Dressage and Showjumping.
Every year the standard for this competition increases and there were some very high scores generated in both the dressage and showjumping. Just six marks covered the top four teams. Regal Equestrian were our overall champions scoring well in each of the 4 sections while Richmond Park Riding School from south west London took the Best Turned Out honours.

Report - Centre Equitation 2014

On Friday 15th August, sixty competitors from thirteen riding schools took part in the Centre Equitation at The Pony Club Championships, Cholmondeley Castle. Huge thanks to all the proprietors, parents, volunteers and instructors who make this competition happen. Your help is invaluable.

The competition hosts four sections - two for the 12 years and under and two for the 13 years and over, with places to 10th in each arena. The top three scores per team are used to calculate the team placings - this year, Foxes Riding School from the Wirral surpassed their 2013 placing of 5th to take the team title. The team of Ellie Williamson, Katie Linford, Katie Nickson and Nicholas Turner along with proprietor Anna Davies and instructor John Gilbert were thrilled with their achievement.

Team winners and Arena winners all received a voucher to claim a Toggi jacket, generously supplied by Finest Brands International.
DJ Murphy the publishers of Pony Magazine also provided goody bags for all competitors.
