The Garth Hunt branch of The Pony Club was established in 1930 and is a part of Area 13. The Garth Hunt encompasses Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, Bracknell, Windsor Great Park, Winkfield and surrounding areas.

The emphasis of our Pony Club is to have fun with and without your pony. It is for ALL abilities and we always WELCOME new members.

2008 is going to be another eventful year for The Garth Hunt. Lined up we have Polo lessons and Dressage training, Show jumping and Cross country rallies, Mounted games and of course the ever popular camps in the summer. For all details and dates please refer to Branch Calendar.

Hickstead Qualifier

The heavens opened onto Smith's Lawn on Sunday but not enough to dampen everyone's enthusiasm for a great day of Show Jumping.

1st team place Garth Hunt Stars. Carley Grimster, Amy Halstead, Alicia Smallman and Rhian Denton.

2nd team place was Wokingham Pony Club.

3rd team place was Garth Hunt Stripes. Alyssa Yallop, Joules Balfour, Emme Clucas and Sarah Weatherall.

4th team place was won by the Garth Hunt Diamonds. Sarah Moulder, Adam Harvey, Sophie Callard and Daniella Levitt.

Please would you consider signing a petition to the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, requesting greater powers for the RSPCA so that animals can be removed from abusing owners before they reach the stage where they die or have suffered extreme abuse.
