Dengie Winter League and Open Show Jumping
Introduction The Pony Club Dengie Winter League Show Jumping Competition wasinaugurated in the Autumn 1995 for the purpose of enabling Members to take part in an event suited to their level of performance. It is hoped that this competition will improve their ability, enhance their experience and enable them to gain confidence before embarking on competitions of a higher order.
There are three stages to this competition: Preliminary Rounds are held throughout the country from October to February. The first four and any tying for these places at each of the Preliminary Rounds will be awarded rosettes and qualify to go forward to one of 19 Area Competitions.
The Open competition was set up in the Spring of 2006 for Members wishing to jump round a bigger course of fences. Members qualify by competing at an Area competition where the first three go forward to the Final.
