Polo Training Courses Pony Club Polo runs highly popular and successful polo training trips to South Africa during the February half term and Easter holidays.
Instruction is intensive, covering not only the aspects of the game, but also the all important pony management side. The training ends with a fantastic two day tournament.
HPA accredited coach David Morley will demonstrate the process of retraining a racehorse to play polo - from leaving the training yard to playing chukkas. This will be followed by veterinary and horse nutrition advice and in the afternoon the workshop will also offer the opportunity for you to bring your ex-racehorses for coaching and problem solving.
The cost is £25.

With the changing of Pony Club Polo training by introducing a new Handbook a new information sheet (

POLO TRAINING IN SOUTH AFRICA: departing on Fri 12th February 2010 night flight returning on Tues 23rd (or Mon 22nd if school dictates) early morning. Intensive polo training with Selby Williamson and Gavin Chaplin a very popular course producing outstanding results. Total price £2300.
