The Waen-y-Llyn Branch was established in 1974 and is part of Pony Club Area 5. We operate in the area in and around Wrexham.  We are a growing branch and welcome new members of all ages.

In the Winter months we hold rallies at the Clwyd Special Riding Centre in Llanfynydd, sometimes at Northop, the equine unit in the College of Horticulture and the Maelor Equestrian Centre at Hope. Training sessions are organised for the various disciplines.

During the summer months, rallies and training sessions are held at a variety of localities.

All members are encouraged to take part in a number of disciplines including dressage, show jumping, eventing, triathlon, tetrathlon, mounted games, pony racing and unmounted activities such as horse and pony care, BBQ's and quizzes.

This year we entered teams and individuals in a number of interbranch, Novice Championship and Area competitions.
