TEST TRAINING

B Test Training

There will be four indoor stable management sessions with Trudi Eustance held on Monday evenings between 7.30 and 8.30pm (dates 3/11, 17/11, 1/12 and 15/12). These are for those aiming to take their B test next summer. The cost is yet to be finalised but will be a maximum of £20 per person for four sessions. The venue will alternate between Reigate and Forest Green. This is a progressive course and topics will be set each week for the next session so members can read up beforehand. Provided this seems successful, we aim to arrange more sessions after Christmas on a similar basis. C+ Test

TESTS: there will be no tests this holidays

D and D+ Test: For advice and information, contact Annette Warren (01372 454353). Test dates will be arranged for next Spring/Summer. More details in the Spring Newsletter

C Test and above: For advice and information, please contact Mrs Sue Parker, The Steading, Wheelers Lane, Brockham, Surrey RH3 7HJ (01737 843909). If you are interested in taking C Test or above in 2009, please send an s.a.e. to Mrs Parker by 1 March and she will let you know dates for training and tests. B Test may now be taken in two parts and in different years (£25 per session at present).

No-one will be entered for any Tests unless they have attended relevant training sessions and the instructors agree that they are ready for the Test. If you are unsure about any aspect of the Test Structure, please call Mrs Parker for advice; she is very happy to help.

BHS Road Safety Test: The BHS Road Safety Test is required before candidates take their C+. Please call Elaine Gover (01293 786395) for advice on local equitation centres where the BHS Test can be taken.

Pony Club Road Safety Achievement Badge: Applicants for C Test are required to have passed the PC Road Safety Achievement Badge. Please call Deborah Payton (01737 221129) and she will run a course if there are sufficient numbers.
