Tetrathlon Report
The summer holidays started well with an ‘end of shooting practise term’ BBQ very kindly organised by Mr & Mrs Rainbow. Despite the weather everyone had a good time.
The S&WW has been very ably represented at a number of competitions over the summer by Angus Corrie Dean, Ben Rainbow, Casper Ruane, Joseph Miller, Milo Kennedy, Anna Rocke, Georgie Lane, Harriet Rainbow, Polly Vickery, Charlotte Miller, Harry Lane, Ross Bowers, Harriet Eyre, Justine Bowers and Robert Collyer.
The Area tetrathlon was held in Truro and Harriet, Justine and Rob all won their classes - three area champions in one discipline is a good result! Unfortunately Justine couldn’t compete at the National Championships as she had been selected for the GB para show jumping squad competing the same weekend as the Championships (many congratulations!) but Harriet and Rob went up to Hartbury in August. Harriet was 29th in the Open and Rob 12th in the Intermediate class. Both had super clear rounds on borrowed horses. Harriet was also selected to represent Southern England at the UK Regional Tetrathlon Championship held this year at Wincanton Racecourse/Sherborne School and Manor Farm.
