Special mention must be made of the wonderful success of members in summer competitions.

Cordelia Francis came 4th at the Pony Club championships.

At the Area Show Jumping at Bristol our novice team consisting of Robert Collyer, Pandora Yates, Rilla Cotton and Charlie Bultitude tried very hard but were unplaced.

The intermediate team of Jess Clark, Hayley Scource, Tessa Cadman and Jay Hoare came 6th. Cordelia Francis came 6th as an individual in the open section.

At the Junior Area Show Jumping at Larkhill our team consisting of Harriet Raymond, Charlotte Miller, Polly Vickery and Ellie Cotton were placed 8th out of 33 teams.

At the Area Dressage Rachael Alexander came 6th in her class, Cordelia Francis and Jay Hoare were both 8th.

At Area Eventing the novice team was unplaced; the Intermediate team was all placed and came 3rd overall. Jay Hoare came 5th Tessa Cadman 5th Hannah Batty Smith 7th and Jess Clark 8th. In the Senior class Cordelia Francis won and Louisa Murray unfortunately had to retire.

The S &WW also sent teams to other interbranch competitions where they all did really well
