Welcome to the website of
Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn's Hunt Branch of The Pony Club
The "Wynnstay" is a small friendly branch which was formed in the 1920s. We exist to encourage young people to ride well, care for their horses and to enable them to enjoy all kinds of activities whilst having fun within their age group. The Branch is run by a Committee made up of elected professional instructors and volunteers.
During the year we arrange Instruction Rallies aimed at all levels of ability and interest. There are a number of "tests" and "badges" that the children can work towards if they wish.
We organize competitions from Beginners to Advanced and as children make progress they are encouraged to take part in Team Events with the opportunity to represent the Branch at Area events.
In addition to competitions we arrange Picnic Rides, Parties and Pantomime trips. Before each school holiday, notices are sent out with information about activities. A Newsletter keeps everyone abreast of "the action."
If you would like to attend a "Taster Rally" please contact either of the DC's, whose details can be found on The Committee page, and they will be glad to assist.
