Welcome to Petersfield Pony Club Website

The Petersfield Branch was established in 1977 and is part of Pony Club Area 13. Our area covers Hindhead down to East Meon and from Headley across to Rogate (you will find that we share some boundaries with the Hampshire Hunt, Chiddingfold, Cowdray and Hambledon North branches). We have about 125 members and this means we are small enough to know our members well but also have enough to lay on a wide range of activities and events to cater for all ages and abilities. We have a special section for 8 and under; those on or just off the lead-rein. copy_of_mg1.jpg

We have a very full programme of events for our members - you can see what we do by clicking on News and then choosing the latest Newsletter from the drop down menu. We have fun rallies for our youngest members plus plenty of other rallies and specialised training in flatwork, show jumping and cross country at all levels. New members are most welcome irrespective of ability. Horse and Pony Care is also very important and we have ongoing dismounted rallies through the year. Of course we also have camps in the summer  holidays and 2 day clinics in the Easter holidays all of which are very psj3.jpgopular.   

We are proud to be known as a very friendly branch and also we do have plenty of successes (from Mini to Open events) and have regular representations at the Championships in a variety of disciplines.  We have always had members keen to do gymkhana games for the Prince Philip Cup and training starts in January each year. We have recently started up a Polocrosse section.   mg.jpg

Though the Petersfield branch has no direct association with a hunt; our members are welcome to follow all the local hunts in the area and some of our members hunt on a regular basis.
