NEWSLETTER

Dear Members,

We hope you all had a good summer, despite the wet weather. NPC has been very fortunate with our events and our summer dressage series ran every Monday, our September show was dry and sunny and went ahead as planned and even camp had a dry week!

Welcome to our new members – Harriet Gray, Josie Golden, Phoebe Morris and Abigail Parsons. We hope you enjoy your time with us.

Road sense. Please find enclosed a BHS sheet on Riding & Road Safety. Please take a few minutes to read and maybe pin up in your tack room. Our older members take the Pony Club R & RS test but it is important that you all stay as safe as possible especially as winter is on the way and visibility on the roads is reduced.

Website. After much gnashing of teeth we have the Northampton Pony Club website up and running.  We are still having a few problems so please bear with us. All schedules are in the calendar section on the main Pony Club site. Results, details of times, rallies etc will appear on our site as before. I have handed the running over to Merle Goff as she has more expertise in this area so the site may change as Merle gets it sorted.

Clothing. Orders for Christmas presents must be in by mid October for them to arrive in time for Christmas. All personalised clothing must be accompanied by payment. I have long sleeved tees, some rugby shirts, some polo shirts and official sweatshirts in stock.

Dates for your diary –

Jumping Derby – Sunday 19^th October. Schedules are in the main Pony Club calendar section. 

Winter training, Moulton – starting 25^th October.  1-2 pm, 2-3pm, places ;imited, although another hour can be added if necessary on some dates. You must book well in advance to secure a place as these sessions are very popular. Please note Kathy is away from 31^st Oct for 2 weeks so rallies on dates 25^th Oct, 1^st & 8^th Nov must be booked before she goes away.  Area training on 15^th Nov & 13^th Dec by invitation only.
