WELCOME TO THE NEW FOREST HUNTS
BRANCH OF THE PONY CLUB
When William the conqueror saw these acres of deer-filled Heathland, pretty glades and wild woodland more than 900 year ago, he couldn't believe his luck - and as the New Forest Hunts Pony Club members we are very fortunate to have this unique and stunning backdrop to many of our events and activities. We have approx 170 members of varying ages and abilities and offer a fun packed programme - something for everyone! .
A huge thank you to Penny Smith and her team for organising a great dressage competition at the Fortune Centre on 21st Feb. The event was well attended and there were some superb tests - the event raised £1000 which will be split with the Fortune centre - well done all involved.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LOGAN AND
GEORGINA LEWIS
Fifty comptitors from all over the South of England converged at Sparsholt yesterday, 7 March 2010, to compete for one of the four coveted Dengie Open Final places in Warwickshire on 27 March. The big 95cm course which included massively wide spreads and a very challenging triple had to be ridden with a time frame to qualify for the jump off. Georgina rode a textbook initial clear round and a jump off which looked effortless to take 3rd place and qualify. Members who had turned out to support the NFHPC Dengie qualifiers were thrilled for Georgina and wish her the very best of luck for the Final.
Well done to other NFHPC members who had qualified for this semi-final ad represented our PC on the day, Issy Huntington, Sophie Merriett, Ellie Cooper and Hannah Stevenson who annoyingly had the last fence down after a well ridden round. Mention must go to Sophie Merritt (1st), Issy Huntington(2nd) in the 2'9'' and Georgina Killengray (6th) in the 2'6'' open classes who qualified for the Sparsholt Championships on 27th March and the Sunshine Tour Championships.
