Once again, we have a varied and interesting programme for you - do come and take part.

Our Cristmas Show Jumping Show at Sparsholt is a bit earlier this year, on November 29th. Entries at the moment are a bit disappointing but I do hope that a lot more of you will be coming. Entries close on 25th November so send them in quickly. We need volunteers for arena parties all day from 9.00 - 5.00 (short shifts only!) There is a Dengie Qualifier at the show - rules are on the schedule. Basically, this is an indoor Show Jumping Championship with the final rounds at Moreton Morrell in Warwickshire. To qualify for the next round (regional final) you must be placed in the first four at a provisional (which our show is). Heights are 2'9 - 2'11 ½ . This year (2009) the next round will be at Sparsholt in early March. Visit the PC website for more qualifiers and the full Dengie rules.

Do come to our Christmas Prizegiving and party on the 17th December at Boldre Memorial Hall, Pilley. This is an important social evening and I should like to see as many of you as possible. Please bring a plate of finger type food. We provide the drinks. There will be fun and games for all members after the prizegiving and in a separate room I look forward to meeting as many parents as possible. This is your chance to put suggestions to the committee, ask questions and generally let us know what you want. A chance not to be missed!

On the 18th December is the charming nativity play performed at the Fortune Centre - with real animals. Do wrap up warmly as it gets cold in the indoor school. This evening will really get you all in the Christmas spirit!

Please remember Annual Subscriptions are now due and must be paid before January 1st 2009 or your membership and inurance will lapse. The renewal forms will be sent out separately. Please complete and return these as soon as possible. Please don't forget the Gift Aid section - it helps your own Pony club and costs you nothing extra!

Do remember that you need to attend at least 3 rallies to be considered for Area Teams in 2009. Start now, don't leave it until April! Please book early for rallies as indoor ones are limited in number and it is always first come, first served!
