The Hursley branch of the Pony Club are extremely lucky to have several very welcoming local hunts. We are most closely associated with the Hursley Hambledon but also have excellent connections with the our other neighbouring hunts such as the Wilton, New Forest, Royal Artilery & Hampshire Hunt.

How wonderful it was to see SO many Hursley members out with the Hursley Hambledon at Manor Farm, Tytherley during half term. We were so lucky with the lovely early morning weather and as far as I could see (from my position some way towards the back all morning!) all ponies looked to be loving it as much as the riders. The 2 hours they had promised us all seemed to quickly change to a very enjoyable 4 hours! The Hursley Hambledon have invited us out with them again on December 31st at Silkstead Farm, Hursley (where I am assured there will be some jumping) and it would be lovely to see as many of you there as were out this last time. However, you don’t have to wait for a specific invitation to go out with any of our local hunts and if you would like to be kept up to date with which hunts are where and on which day I would be more than happy to add you to my hunting email tree – you just need to email me to let me know you would like to be added to the list. All our local hunts have now held their opening meets so dress and turnout are more important and you should all plait and ensure your ponies are gleaming for the meets and you should be immaculately turned out too.
