2008 REPORTS
EAST SUSSEX PC - Hankham, 20th September
East Sussex PC - Hankham, 20th September
On the most glorious day at the wonderful setting of Montague Farm in Hankham, Eridge were represented by one Mini Mini team, one Mini team and 2 individuals. In the Mini Mini team were Millie Bresnahan, Bella Nichols and William Todd-Dunning. Unfortunately they were unplaced, but all did good show jumping rounds - just an unlucky 4 for Millie and Bella but a clear round for William - and they coped with the tricky cross-country course very well, Bella doing a lovely clear round.
The Mini team - Ollie Halcrow, Matthew Porter, Phoebe Wylam & Katie Ann Hickling - came 3rd and Phoebe was also 3rd individually. Well done to them!
Also very well done to Francesca Newman who WON her class, and to Chloe Hagger who did a nice dressage, was clear cross country but had an unlucky 8 penalties in the showjumping, putting her just out of the placings.
EAST KENT PC - Chilham, 8th August
East Kent PC - Chilham, 8th August
Congratulations to the Novice team of Sally McGuckin, Francesca & Charlotte Newman & George Thompson who came 4th. Sally was placed 3rd individually and George 6th. Well done also to Chloe Hagger, competing as an individual, who had a double clear but got time penalties for going too fast putting her just out of the placings!

ROMNEY MARSH PC - Delmonden, 3rd August
Romney Marsh PC - Delmonden, 3rd August
Despite the awful weather, we had a great and very long day at the ODE held by Romney Marsh PC.
Congratulations to Kath Port who won her arena in the Novice class.
We had three teams entered in the Level 2 class. Everyone tried their very best and despite a few poles here and there and a couple of stops on the xc course all three teams were placed, in fact, we WON!!!!!
1st place went to Eridge Lions - Georgie Sykes (also 4th ind), Cosima Tibbles (also 8th ind), Katie-Ann Hickling (also 7th ind) and Katie Wallbridge (also 2nd ind).
2nd place went to Eridge Monkeys - Annabel Wallbridge (also 2nd ind), Phoebe Wylam, Harriet Sutton (also 3rd ind) and Jordan Groom.
6th place went to Eridge Bears - Ellie Horne (also 6th ind), Elise La Rooy, Richard Maltz and Katie Aspinall.
We had two teams entered in the Level 1 class and the Eridge Dolphins came 6th. They were Matthew Porter, Toby Carling (also 5th ind) and Phoebe Toyne-Bridges. The other team was the Eridge Sharks who missed out on a place this time. They were Caroline Blaxland, Hannah Jenner, Jade Grant-Rennick and Bella Nichols. Congratulations to Jade for coming 5th in her arena though and bad luck for Hannah who just missed out on 8th place due to collectives.

AREA - Brightling, 24th July
Area 11 Qualifiers - Brightling, 24th July
Many congratulations to Fiona Hamilton and Rachel McGuckin who came 3rd & 4th respectively in the Open, and to Will Halcrow who came 2nd in the Intermediate, all qualifying for the Pony Club Championships at Draycott House, Derbyshire.
Our Open team of Khia Cadney-Moon, Lauren McLusky, Fiona and Rachel came 3rd. Poor Khia, having done a lovely clear round in the show jumping, had the misfortune of tasting the first water – not to be recommended! The water jumps did prove very influential as not many people had ever had to jump in the middle of the water before.
In the Intermediate Josie Duggan was placed 4th in her arena and in the Novice Kath Port came 6th and Ross Rist 7th.
Well done to everyone who competed.
