Tetrathlon Rallies and Practices 2010

Tetrathlon shooting rallies, suitable for all abilities, at Byley Village Hall. All members are welcome, particularly newcomers to tetrathlon - why not come along and have a go? Rallies are the first or second sunday of each month. Cap £4 payable on the day. The next rally will be on Sunday 3 October, 4.00 - 6.00 pm - please ring Judy if you would like to attend.

Sunday night training - for those with their own guns at Stanthorne Parks

5 September 6.00 - 7.00 pm

These sessions are held in a barn so you need to wear warm clothing. Please ring to let me know if you are coming.

For the swimming phase you need to join a local swimming club. They will be more than happy to teach you, and give you extra help on technique. Over the winter is the time to start ironing out any problems you may have and getting the swim hours in.

Swimming caps have now arrived, price £4.50. Old style white sweatshirts (£15) and new style royal rugby shirts are also available at the rallies.

Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships - 19-22 August

After a very exciting weekend at the Tetrathlon Championships held at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire, Haydn Gleave was successful in coming 8th individually out of 52 Intermediate Boys.

He shot 840, swam a personal best of 8 lengths, ran 2K in 6.50 mins (only to be beaten by 3 secs by the last runner) and rode a fantastic clear round, over a technical course in the cross country on Humbug.

Well Done Haydn and Humbug!

Area 5 Triathlon - 28 February 2010

Well done to the Triathlon team who competed at Mold, Wales in the Area 5 Triathlon on Sunday, 28 February 2010. The first one of the new year, with some of the competitors competing in their new age groups.

Well done to Haydn Gleave now in the Senior section (2nd and best run), Toby Johnson (2nd and best shoot), Alysha Goddard (5th) and Emma Furmston who all moved up to the Junior Section and to Lily Johnson, Ella Platt and Lucy Furmston as Mini Girls.Team Hawk - Haydn, Toby, Alysha and Lily came 2nd as a team.
