Congratulations to Haydn Gleave and the Wales & Borders Team who came 2nd out of nine teams at the Junior Regionals on 20/21 June. Haydn came 12th individual, out of 45 boys. He got a 900 shoot, Clear ride, a 4.57 run and 7L 17mtrs swim. It was a very close completion with the Irish just winning by a close 78 points. Haydn was the youngest team member. The W & B places Harry A 1st, Ben S 7th, Haydn 12th, Andrew C 15th and the reserve Ross. Well done to all the boys, they all had a fantastic time, and have been asked as a team, by the Irish, over to their championships in August.

We will be holding monthly tetrathlon shooting rallies, suitable for all abilities, at Byley Village Hall. All members are welcome, particularly newcomers to tetrathlon - why not come along and have a go? Rallies are the first sunday of each month, 5.00 - 7.00 pm. The next rally will be on Sunday 7 June - please ring Liz or Judy if you would like to attend.
We will also be holding regular tetrathlon practices for those who wish to become more involved in Pony Club Tetrathlon. Practices will be held every Sunday evening from 6.00 - 7.00 pm, at Stanthorne Parks, Middlewich. There will be a small fee payable at each session. Please confirm with Judy when you will be attending.
East Cheshire Triathlon team performed brilliantly at the triathlon hosted by the West Lancashire Ince Blundell Pony Club.
Well done to Toby Johnson, Haydn Gleave, Harriet Searle, Lucy Johnson, Lily Johnson and Alysha Goddard.
Big WELL DONE to Haydn Gleave who got the highest score in the competition.

Lucy Johnson (13) - Junior Girls (12 - 14 years) not place but had an enjoyable day.
Harriet Searle (13) – Junior Girls (12 – 14 years) not place but did extremely well competing in her first triathlon.
Toby Johnson (11) - Minimus Boys (9-11 years) came 1st in his section also gaining best swim, best shoot and best run.
Alysha Goddard (11) - Minimus Girls (9-11 years) came 3rd in her section also gaining once again best run.
Lily Johnson (8) - Pre-minimus Girls (under 8 years) came 2nd in her section and also gained best swim.
TEAM HAWKS (Haydn, Alysha and Toby) once again came in FIRST place and won the trophy for most points (presented by Judy Gill – DC for Ince Blundell)
New members always welcome, come and have a go. It's a brilliant day and everyone is very supportive!!! Look out for the shooting rallies coming up in the New Year.
WELL DONE and an outstanding achievement from the East Cheshire Triathlon Team who competed at the Flint & Denbigh Triathlon on Sunday 2 November - Hayden Gleave, Lucy Johnson, Toby Johnson, Alysha Goddard, Ella Platt and Lily Johnson.
TEAM HAWKS (Hayden, Toby and Alysha) performed outstandingly, coming in FIRST place.

Ella Platt (9) - Minimus Girls (9-11 years) not placed but did well competing for the first time in this section.
Lucy Johnson (8) - Pre-minimus Girls (under 8 years) came 3rd in her section and also gained best swim.
Well done to the Triathlon team of Hayden Gleave (13), Lucy Johnson (13), Alysha Goddard (11), Toby Johnson (11), Ella Platt (9) and Lily Johnson (8) who had a fun day competing in their age groups - shooting, running and swimming, most improving on their last scores in March.
Congratulations to Hayden and Toby who both came 3rd in their age groups and to Alysha who came 2nd and once again had the best swim score in her age group. The East Cheshire Hawks team comprising of Hayden, Toby and Alysha came 4th. Click below for full results:
